The rules for using Geo.

The short version

Akash Manmohan operates Maths & Patterns. These terms explain the rules for using Geo, the maths and patterns app, and the mathandpatterns.com website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Age and family use

Anyone can play Geo on their own. Solo practice needs no account and has no age requirement. Creating an account requires you to be 13 or over. An account is what unlocks multiplayer, friends, the public leaderboard and the toy reward programme, and each of those involves other people or a real parcel. If you are under 13, do not create an account — play as a guest instead. Geo does not currently include a separate parental-control dashboard. A parent or guardian who believes an ineligible child has created an account can contact support to review or delete that account. There is no minimum age for reading public journal articles, and no account or analytics consent is required. Optional website analytics is offered only to visitors who confirm they are 18 or older. Creating an app account is separate: follow the eligibility check shown during app registration and do not bypass it. A parent or guardian can contact support about a child's account.

Your account

• Use an email address you are allowed to use.
• Keep your sign-in details private.
• Use a username that is not offensive, misleading, or impersonating someone else.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.

Acceptable use

• Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Do not try to cheat, manipulate scores, or interfere with matchmaking or leaderboards.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the app or its services.
• Do not upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or unsafe.

Learning content

Geo is a practice and entertainment app. It can help users practise maths and pattern skills, but it does not guarantee any exam result, school grade, or specific learning outcome.

Purchases

Geo does not currently sell paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If paid features are added later, any additional purchase terms will be shown before purchase.

Journal content licence

Essays in the Pattern Journal are published under Creative Commons BY-NC 4.0. Teachers and learners may print, project, or remix them for non-commercial classroom use, provided you attribute Maths & Patterns and link back. The app, the website code, the brand, and the artwork are not covered by that licence — see our Licence page for details.

Privacy and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains what data Geo collects and how it is used. You can request account deletion from Settings in the app or from the delete-account page at mathandpatterns.com/delete-account.

Intellectual property

Geo, its app design, game content, artwork, and software are owned by the developer or licensors. You are given a limited, personal, non-transferable permission to use the app for learning and play.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause, or remove app features to improve the service, fix bugs, meet legal requirements, or protect users. We try to keep Geo available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, Geo is provided "as is" and we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
