The short version
Physical rewards are app-only and currently unavailable. Browser practice does not earn reward points or unlock rewards. These published rules describe the app programme; they do not mean rewards can be claimed today.
Who can take part
- You need a Geo account, and accounts are for people aged 13 and over. Points are kept on the account rather than on a device, so a parcel always has someone to belong to. Playing on your own needs no account and no age — but earning points does.
- There is nothing to buy and no payment step at any point.
- A reward can only be posted to an account that is established as 18 or over. Playing, earning points and unlocking a level have no such limit — the age only matters at the point where something has to be posted to a real address. See "Who gives us the address" below.
- One delivery address can receive one reward every 180 days. That limit exists to stop one person collecting the same reward on several accounts, and we would rather you read it here than meet it as a surprise.
Rewards are free
You will never be asked to pay for one, for postage, or for anything else. You can never buy points, and buying anything never earns you points. Nothing you can pay us for makes you earn faster, reach a reward sooner, or move up the queue.
What points are
Points are a reward for playing. They have no monetary value, are not money and are not property, and they are not a stored balance. They cannot be bought, sold, given away, transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash. You will never see a price on this page, because nothing here has one.
How points are earned, and at what rate
The rate is fixed, published, and the same for every player. It is never personalised, never doubled for a weekend, never scaled by a streak, and never adjusted to suit how much you play.
- Win a rated duel — 75 points.
- Draw a rated duel — 40 points.
- Lose a rated duel — 20 points. Turning up and losing still counts.
- Practice and the daily challenge — 0 points today. Only rated duels earn points at the moment. If that changes, the new rate is published here before it takes effect.
How much can be earned in a day
The daily limits are what keep the rate the same for everyone, so nobody can grind past anyone. Days run on UTC.
- At most 200 points a day from rated duels.
- At most 80 points a day from practice, and 80 from the daily challenge, once either of those starts earning.
- At most 260 points in total in any one day.
- Only three duels a day count against the same opponent.
What unlocks a reward
Points alone never unlock anything. Every line has to be met — that is what keeps this a reward for getting better rather than for grinding. These are the levels as they stand today.
- Starter — 1,200 points, level 12, 21 days of practice, 20 rated duels, rating 300.
- Builder — 4,500 points, level 20, 45 days of practice, 60 rated duels, rating 700.
- Pro — 10,000 points, level 32, 90 days of practice, 120 rated duels, rating 1,100.
- Master — 20,000 points, level 45, 150 days of practice, 200 rated duels, rating 1,500.
Each reward level can be claimed once
When you have had the reward for a level, that level is complete — keep playing, and the next one is what you are working towards.
Nothing is left to chance
There is no luck, no draw, no mystery box and no hidden odds. The exact points for each thing you can do are on this page and in the app, and every requirement for a level is visible before you start. Rewards are never handed out by chance, and everyone who reaches a level gets theirs.
Points you earn are yours
They never expire, never shrink, and are never taken away — not for a missed day, not for cancelling an order, not ever. A level you unlock stays unlocked. For good. Running out of stock, living somewhere we do not post to yet, or a queue we are working through, change when your reward arrives — never whether.
There is no monthly limit
There is no monthly limit on how many rewards we send. If we are behind on posting, you keep your points and join the queue with a place we show you and a date. Everyone who unlocks a level gets their reward — a queue changes when, not whether.
If the reward you chose runs out
We will offer you something of the same value or better. We will not simply cancel it. If something goes out of stock between choosing it and confirming, your points are untouched — pick another, or wait for the restock.
Who gives us the address
We never ask a player under 18 to type a postal address into the game. A reward is only ever posted to an account that is established as 18 or over, using the age that account gave when it was set up. That grown-up types the delivery address themselves, in the app, at the moment of redeeming — there is no separate link to open and nothing to confirm afterwards. We email the account straight away with what was ordered and exactly where it is going, so if the address is wrong, or nobody meant to order it, there is time to change it or cancel before we pack anything. Nothing is charged at any step and no card is ever involved. The address is used to send that reward and nothing else. We delete it 90 days after the parcel is delivered — the 90 days are there so a parcel that goes missing can still be chased or replaced; after that it is gone. If the order is cancelled or something goes wrong with it, the address is deleted straight away.
Where we can post
No country is shut out of this programme. Points are earned everywhere, anyone anywhere can reach a level, and where you live never changes whether you take part. What varies is where a particular object can be posted: each reward carries its own list of countries, shown on the reward itself and before you spend a single point, so you never find that out at the end. If we cannot post that one to you yet, it stays on the shelf with the reason written on it rather than quietly disappearing, and your points and your levels are untouched — a level you have unlocked stays unlocked until we can reach you. We only post a reward from inside your own country, so nothing crosses a border and nobody is handed a customs bill for something we said was free. That is also why a country is added to a reward's list when we can genuinely make it and answer for it there, and never taken off one to save us postage.
If it does not arrive
Tell us and we will send a replacement, once per account, no questions asked. After that we look at each claim by hand. Write to akash@chaitonix.com.
When we may change these rules, and how
We will only change the points rates, the levels or this programme for one of these reasons:
- a change in the law or in a rule we have to follow;
- a supplier or maker stopping production of something;
- a reward being withdrawn on safety grounds;
- proven fraud or abuse of the programme;
- a change in production cost we can show you.
How a change is published
We will not change these rules simply because we would prefer to. If we ever change them, we will publish the change here at least 30 days before it takes effect, and points and levels you have already earned are not affected. A rate can be raised at any time. It is only ever lowered going forward, never backwards, and never so far that a level already in front of you stops being reachable at the pace you are going.
If we ever have to stop
If we ever have to stop sending rewards, we will say so here at least 90 days before we stop, and everyone who has already unlocked a level on the day we announce it will still get their reward.
